The Sokolo League has been a beacon of excitement and opportunity for football enthusiasts in Uganda. From September 2023 to the present, our leagues have brought together teams from various communities, schools, and academies, fostering a spirit of competition, teamwork, and fair play.
2023 Community League: A Thrilling Start
Our inaugural season saw six teams compete in a home-and-away format, playing 11v11 matches every weekend from September 3rd to November 12th, 2023. The participating teams were:

Junior League: Nurturing Young Talent
Our Junior League, which ran from December 6th, 2023, to January 25th, 2024, featured three age categories: U9, U12, and U14. The participating teams were:

The Sokolo Schools League, which took place from March 3rd to May 5th, 2024, brought together six schools in a competitive 11v11 league. The participating schools were:

Girls League: Empowering Female Footballers
The Sokolo Girls League, held on May 11th, 2024, saw 10 teams compete in a 9v9 format, with the best two teams advancing to the semi-finals and finals. The participating teams were:

Achievements and Impact
We’re proud of our achievements over the past year, including:
- Providing a platform for academies, schools, community teams, and girls-only teams to compete
- Inspiring girls to join football and showcasing their talents
- Enabling youth players to secure scholarships, such as Kevin Kaabali and Songa Samuel
- Attracting sponsors like PIN YOGHURT to support our leagues
- Giving playing time to numerous youth players, promoting active engagement in competitive football
