At Sokolo Football Academy, we’re passionate about nurturing young talent and providing opportunities for growth. During the school break, our academy transforms into a vibrant hub of activity, offering a comprehensive program that combines football training, competition, and education.
Football Training and Development
Our expert coaches lead intensive training sessions every Monday and Tuesday, focusing on technical skills, tactical awareness, and physical conditioning. These sessions are tailored to meet the needs of different age groups and skill levels, ensuring each player receives personalized attention and guidance.
Tournaments and Competitions
We believe competition is essential for growth, so we participate in various tournaments across Kampala. This school break, our U15 boys made us proud by winning the Rwaboni tournament championship. We’re now gearing up for national qualifiers on September 4th for U11 and U13, and September 7th for U15.
Our U11 and U13 teams have been making waves in recent tournaments.
- Major League Cup (U13): Our U13 team had an impressive run, winning 4 games and drawing 1, before losing in the finals via penalties. Although they didn’t take home the trophy, they gained invaluable experience and showed tremendous skill.
- Gifted Stars Tournament (U11): Our U11 team had a blast competing in this tournament, playing 5 games, winning 3, drawing 1, and losing in the finals. Their enthusiasm and teamwork were on full display throughout the competition.
Outdoor Activities and Team-Building
Football isn’t the only focus; we also organize outdoor activities like foot tennis to promote teamwork, socialization, and fun. These activities help our players bond, build relationships, and develop essential life skills.
Computer Lessons and Education
We recognize the importance of education in our players’ lives, so we offer computer lessons to enrich their knowledge and skills in technology. This empowers them to succeed both on and off the pitch.
